The Cardiff Nose and Sinus Clinic is led by two highly experienced rhinologists based at the University Hospital of Wales, who together bring over a decade of collaborative expertise in the diagnosis and management of nasal and sinus conditions. Having both completed international rhinology fellowships in Australia, we combine global experience with local excellence to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care.
Between us, we cover the full spectrum of rhinology — including septoplasty, septorhinoplasty, sinus surgery, turbinate surgery, and repair of septal perforations. We manage all nasal and sinus disorders, from rhinitis, sinusitis, and dry nose to headache and smell loss, offering both medical and surgical treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs.
Our private clinics are conveniently located at the Spire Hospital Cardiff and the Nuffield Health Cardiff Bay Hospital, operating under one umbrella service but with independent schedules and secretarial teams for patient convenience. Having trained and worked together for over ten years, we share a strong professional partnership grounded in trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to clinical excellence.

Consultant ENT and Anterior Skull Base Surgeon
I am an experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon in Cardiff, based at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW). I graduated from Cardiff University and became a consultant in 2017 following my international rhinology fellowship in Adelaide, Australia. Since then, I have been the rhinology lead at the hospital overseeing complex tertiary sinus surgery and skull base surgery. My practice includes all types of nasal presentation including surgery for sinusitis, nasal polyps, allergy, facial pain and blockage. I am proficient in all endoscopic and minimally invasive approaches to the skull base and orbit and a significant proportion of my work includes collaboration with neurosurgery and ophthalmology. During COVID I setup a local anaesthetic service offering patients awake nasal surgery. I am recognised nationally for my expertise and receive referrals for difficult cases and following complications from hospitals across South Wales.
In addition to my rhinology practice, I manage all ENT presentations including paediatrics.
I am Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England as well as an active member of the British Rhinology Society (BRS), British Skull Base Society (BSBS) and British Society of Facial Plastics (BSFPS). I am committed to excellence in clinical care, medical education and surgical innovation, with an extensive record of publications and leadership within professional societies. I am invited faculty on several national advanced sinus surgery courses and frequently lecture at national meetings.

I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon with an NHS practice at the University Hospital of Wales. In addition to being proficient in all aspects of general ENT, my sub-specialty area of interest is in diseases of the nose and sinuses.
I specialise in general ENT and being a fellowship trained Rhinologist, I have additional experience and skills at managing complaints related to nose and sinus issues. This includes nasal obstruction, allergies, sinusitis, nasal polyps and various other problems.
I completed my training in Wales and developed a keen interest in rhinology. This led me to undertake an international fellowship (higher specialist training) in advanced rhinology in the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Australia during which I further developed my clinical and surgical skills in the management of a wide range of nasal and sinus issues. These range from simple nasal obstruction to complex and revision cases involving sinusitis and nasal polyps. Working in a specialist centre such as the UHW, I am routinely referred complex and revision cases from all over South Wales.
I am the educational lead for ENT at the University Hospital of Wales and am the council representative for Wales at the British Rhinology Society.
